Classic 1967 Savanna Beige VW Beetle Bug for Sale!

Added June 27, 2013 by Chris Vallone

We got this bug in a couple weeks ago to sell on consignment.  A nice guy named Dan came down and asked us to put it up for him.  All I have to say is, once I sit inside this car, the smell of the original interior just brings me back in time, I love it, and I was not even born then!  haha.
The car has had the one repaint sometime within the past ten years and is still near show quality.  Interior looks untouched and rightly so.  Undercarriage is clean and solid, no rot or cancer anywhere when we inspected it on our lift.

The car also has incredible compression for being the ORIGINAL MOTOR!  We were getting great readings of 125-135psi in each cylinder, she boogies down the road without a hitch.

Original spare tire sits in the trunk, numbers match on this car from the body to the chassis to the motor.  It just does not get any better than this.  This truly is an unmolested car, tendered and well taken care for.

Any ??s please do not hesitate to call me 845.290.9900

Asking 12,500 OBO

This car has been fully inspected by us here at Classic VW BuGs and checks out!

Do you see many older beetles with the stick shift but an automatic?

What is this called. I had one as my first car and I don't remember the year. Would love to find another like it.

@jacbrown I do see them from time to time.  They started in 68 and went to about 73 I believe.  I have a 68 semi auto in my area if you would like me to inquire.
