Chris,

One way I did the rubber strip was to use a ratchet tie down strap wrapping the strap around the frame while partially inserting the strip of rubber. I then ratcheted the strap whereby pressing the glass and rubber into the frame. Be careful to keep the rubber lined up so the edge does not slip into the frame. Once you complete the ratcheting, then trim the rubber.

Hey Chris, after struggling to get my glass in the frames, I decided to try your method. Got my glass set up in the frames and ordered the phenoseal from an online source. However, my order was canceled because there is a manufacturers restriction on sales in my part of the country. Do you have any suggestions for another caulk. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Thank you for making this video! my glass has been partially installed for way to long.  I haven't been able to close my window for 8 years now.  maybe I'll drive it more now that i can lock it up.
