Hey Guys here is a short video on what color to paint seat frames, ebrake handle, steering column, shifter, etc for your ’65 and earlier VWs. 1966 and later components were all black.

Rustoleum, Valspar, and Krylon all have similar color options. Just be sure to use one brand and stick to it.
