Story!

This car has gone through a complete body off restoration by my painter Benny, she sits as a painted rolling shell now in Atlas Blue.   All new floor pans, heater channels, wheel wells, front nose clip, and much more was needed (metal wise) on this car, but you would never know it.  My painter Benny did a SICK job of welding this ’58 beetle Sedan back to show quality condition.  Body Chassis Match on this lil one too.  You can see the extensive metal work that was done to this bug by clicking on the photo gallery.  Benny knows Metal Work!  He did an incredible job of bringing this car back to life.

All we have to do, is put her together.  This project is for a cool guy named Bill B. who signed onto our “Build-A-BuG” program.

Stay Tuned.

I have a 59 Bug with a 36 hp engine with a ten years restoration.  It`s my pride and joy!  However, I would like to go back in time with an oval or split window.  Do you have any available at this time?  Also, I would like to know what is the outstanding balance on the 58 Atlas Blue ( Bennys Bug).  If is reasonable, I would like to pick up the tab and continue with the restoration.  I know it all depend on the exterior and interior details.  I like to keep it period correct!  No modifications.   Thanks for all the beautiful work and for the passion to classic VWs.

@Jorge1959 We have an oval 1954 Project that you can sign onto, or we also have that 1955 Oval UltraMaroon VW for sale right now that is all done ready to go. You can see that in my "Bugs 4 Sale Section."  Benny's bug would be about a 45k restoration, it was a complete body off rotisserie resto, it is a museum piece.  Call me and we can discuss options.  Also have a 1956 Black Oval bug with red interior for sale too.

Let me know,

Chris

I have a 58 project I just started. I noticed the VIN#'s on the body and front end match; however, the motor seems to be from a different year. I am wondering if my motor might still be original to the bug if the numbers are 1 year off. I am having a hard time accepting it's not the original motor because the car is so straight. Is there someone who can steer me in the right direction with this? Motor VIN# is 3245019 and the body VIN# is 1985282

@Drbagginz It is a period correct motor in there, just that the motor is a 1960 motor and the car is a 1958.

Oh good to know. Sounds like it would be a lot of work to find a correct block to bring it to a 1958 year. This is something that might bug me in the future Ty for the info sir.

Hello I'm Juan from Cali.

I'm in the hunt for a project beetle, as I was doing research for thise new project I came across your web pg.

I like your work and now I'm thinking on getting something completed and high quality.

My question is how much I'm looking to spend (out the door all fees included) for one of your amazing BEETLES.

@Rod_j_c Hey Juan, all depends what year and model you want.  Museum Level or Driver?
