Hey Guys,

What you see here is an awesome “rare” numbers matching 1953 Oval Window Sedan painted in the original Sahara Beige. We recently picked this car up cause we just had to have it, it was awesome! :o)

Motivated to sell, please make an offer. After long thought, we have decided to order one of our “Signature Interior” kits to install into this gem. So the tan interior that you see now will be coming out soon, something with a lil more “PoP” will be going in, sometime in August will be the change.

No worries, we will be saving the tan.

Slideshow PHOTO GALLERY HERE!

This is a nut and bolt “body off” restoration.  Something very close to what we do here at Classic VW BuGs.  1953 Ovals to many is the year oval to have, why?  Because it is a very short year for the oval, the oval came in March 10th 1953, just over 9 months was the life of the ’53 oval, and production numbers were much lower in these years compared to later ovals.

It also was the only year oval to have the 25hp motor, and still featured many split window options like the famous “push button start.”  This oval has it all that a ’53 oval should have, and back to bone stock to boot.  Yeah the original period correct 25hp motor is there and running beautifully!

Paint work is near flawless, undercarriage is clean and black, even the original K Max bolts were reused in many areas.  All the tight areas were painted in the color of the car.

Brand New White Walls, beauty rims, tuned up, valves adjusted, all electric works, you name it!  We went up and down on this car and did our FULL inspection, she is turn key ready to go for ya.

Beautiful Rare Show Piece Car that you can enjoy.

Please Call 845.290.9900 if you have any questions.
