This is a perfect example on how our “Find-A-BuG” program works. We search for the gem, and we get it for you! This is a rare find 1965 VW Beetle we found in upstate NY, all original, never touched, only 8000 miles. It just does not get any better than this when it comes to “ALL ORIGINAL”
SOLD to a cool guy in KY.
I just got it repainted. I took it apart and on Monday I get to put it all back together again. I'm trying to enter it in to the Delmar Car show. It's also my daily driver to college.
That is true. My recent car was garaged for 24 years, and I'm 21. My car has not been touched. A 1968 Autostick. It's been painted once, but only one minor rust spot. All original interior and motor. I like talking with other people about their bugs; For old or young, it's a great car.
WOW!!! All I seem to find here in New York is rotted. I finally find one in ok condition and it's smashed!. Great find, keep us updated.
@billgoats I have a video on where to get parts.
@Cali21 Cool...when I got married my wife had a '68 with the autostick, We let her brother use it during college and he sold it...have never forgiven him for that. (He thought we "gave" it to him an since the title was in her dad's name and her brother had the same name he was able to do. Her's was VW blue and was fun to drive from Boston to Cincinnati on vacation...she even had an 8 track in it.
Have been thinking of buying her a vintage model for her 65th birthday...either a 67 or 68 but she doesn't like the idea a a manual transmission.
