This is a multi part video series on a 1955 VW Beetle Ragtop Project Garage Find that we took to the road to Rhode Island to inspect and buy!  It is moments like these that make this job so great, I love my job.

Outstanding Chris.  Brings me right back to 1957 and my first drive in my 57 Ragtop, black/red of course.  Have never been without a VW product since then. You are a class act and we appreciate it.

Presently 73 Thing, 78 Bus, all 100% stock.

Thank you!!

Nice job, Sweet "Bug", Lucky Larry....no I really mean "lucky Larry".  Question:  "I know that your at "Classic VW Bugs" stick with the "classics" and keeping them, bringing them back to "original" as much as possible, so what's your opinion on taking my "65" Bug and customizing the fenders by removing the top fender mount turn signals and installing the lower, bullet type turn signals such as the ones on "Larry's" earlier model, I simply like the look"  "Good Idea / Bad Idea".  Again, great work, sweet ride, luck (for) Larry.

Awesome videos, appreciate it.  Great editing as well.  really enjoyed it!  Really makes me feel like getting a VW again.  Have owned a 61, 64, 65, and 70, all have left great memories.....keep up this amazing job you're doing!!

Thanks Jose.

What a sweet ride! I agree with 65redbug. I end up watching your videos instead of doing my work! Good thing I'm hidden in a cubicle! Anyway, keep up the good work!

Good and Bad about Chris's Videos:

Good:  I love em, learn allot, see problems that I have experienced, love to see the detail put into the work.  Feel like I'm watching some buddies working on cars.

Bad:  I start my morning in my "Home Office", checking on emails from clients, responding etc., but when I see one from Classic VW....I spent a good 1/2 to 1 hour watching the videos...and ignore my clients.....Whats' Up With That?

Anyway, love the "Road Trip" video - search for the Bug, As I mentioned before;  a huge part about owning a Classic is the Search, the Drive and then the Road Trips.

Also;  I was very impressed when Chris, so early in the morning used the term: "Inter connectivity"...Wow.....from a guy who lives in NY....;-)

Awesome series!

I'm suprised you don't have a trailer, that tow bar looks a little scary and I would be afraid of a tire or bearing failure pulling an old relic. Glad you made it home in one piece.

Five grand seems fair for all that you're getting, plus the extras. How much would you think you will clear after you do your magic?

@1960vw well once the car is all done, she will be worth 35-45k.  She should be done by next Spring
