Just got her in the shop, a nice body off restoration we found on craigslist of a 1966 Sea Blue Sunroof Sedan. SOLD!
Paint was show worthy, interior is very nice, new german square weave carpet, new seat upholstery, etc.
Car sports new heater channels and floor pans and a 1600sp motor.

@mrblueridge We were going to redo the headliner, put some new stainless chrome on, new seals in some spots, white walls, beauty rings, paint the rims more of a cream color rather than white, etc. Door sills,
What are you asking?? What will you accept ---as it sits with the 1600 engine?

@mrblueridge Hey Bob! yes it is the original color Sea Blue, that color was offered from 64-66. The motor is out of a 70, but we have been tempted to get the original style 1300 for it. If you would like that, we can find one for ya.

@classicvwbugs THANKS CHRIS FOR THE INFO. I WILL MAYBE MAKE AN OFFER WHEN YOU START ACCEPTING THEM AND FINISH THE PROJECT. I HAD A 70 WITH THE ORGINAL MOTOR AND THAT LITTLE MOTOR WAS AWSOME AFTER I REBUILT IT. IT IS SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. WITH THE 70 MOTOR OR A PERIOD CORRECT 1300. THANKS AGAIN
@mrblueridge @classicvwbugs We are taking offers now, people have been already sending in. The 1600SP is a great motor, and it looks period enough to be right for the car plus it runs awesome. Let me know.
