Excellent Chris, thanks.  I have done a lot of these and my only caution is to fully cure everything as you go so as to not end up with a "sticky" wheel.  I am in Texas so a good sun cure as you go works really well but watch humidity.

Chris, although I do not have a "67 bug, I have a  '73 Super Bettle I want to restore. The sterring wheel is frozen. I need to remove the wheel to unluck it, only the wheel in not original. Can you  describe the procedure and tools. I removed the nut but cannot pull off the wheel.  Thanks

Hey Chris, great tutorial.  I noticed in the last few seconds of the video that one of those steering wheels had a clock in the center of the hub.  Is that how they came that year or is it an add-on?  How could I go about getting something like that for my 1960 bug?

Hi Chris it´s a excellent video for people that like do himself the retoration of the vw´s, its useful for my 66 restoration... thanks for all the videos that publics in you tube....
