Palm Beach Show Wrap up
The show was a decent turn out, less than what we had last time, but still a good show. One thing that jutted out at me during the show was a 356 Speedster Kit body on top of a bug chassis. This car looked incredible, this is something I am thinking about getting into, I am sourcing out the parts as we speak.
I see many bug chassis for sale without shells on them, so those would be the ones I would grab. Stay tuned for this, they look killer! Look at the video to see what I mean.
Plus we also met the million dollar kid at the show. Take a Peek HERE of the SHOW in FULL HD.
Next show will be in Late Fall at the same spot.
Vid Tip on Pointless Ignition Install
If you run a 12v bug I always like to use a pointless ignition, that means no more points. I think the bugs run a bit better with these units installed, some better gas mileage as well. But I always keep a spare set of points and condenser in my glove box just in case the electronic ignition fails. Here is a VIDEO ON HOW TO INSTALL.
4 More T-Shirts ON SALE!
This week we have two Ringer T-Shirts and two Kids Size T-shirts, all promoting our “Vintage VW Movement.”
Ringers are $22.99
Kids Tees are $16.99
Limited TIme Offer.
Litchfield CT. Bug In Convoy June 17th
Next Sunday (Fathers Day) we will be doing a Meetup early morning at my shop 22 Burts Rd. Congers NY. We will all be heading to the Litchfield “BuG In” at the Harwinton Fairgrounds, 201-232 Locust Road, Harwinton, CT. More info can be found here.
We plan to leave early and stop for breakfast at the Newtown Diner on 84E which is exit 10. The diner is right off the ramp. We plan to leave around 7:00-7:30am from my shop, travel an hour to the diner have breakfast, then continue onward to the show.
We should arrive at the show by 10-11am. My video I shot of the Show Last year HERE.
This is a good show that comes around once a year, all VWs of all shapes and sizes attend. It is about a 2 hour ride from my shop.
Latest Project Updates with NEW Pics
Secret in the works! I am looking to start a Vintage VW Treffen on the East Coast, stay tuned.
